If you have checked the latest fashion trends for the colder seasons or even fresh summer days especially here, in the Northern part of Hemisphere, you might have noticed a lot of girls and ladies pairing comfy sweaters over their dresses. This is indeed a girly yet contemporary and versatile look, and you can mix and match different styles to make it perfect for any occasion. Layering a sweater over a dress is a cute style, which has urban vibes and can work on many occasions. However, it is important to match the perfect garments and individuate the proper lengths - the Starlight pullover is just perfect for such cases. Ready to get inspired to try this trend out?
The Starlight pullover is a relaxed, loose fit pullover worked seamlessly, from the top down, with deep circular yoke construction and longer than usually sleeves. Two sets of German short rows are used to shape more comfortable and better fit. Approximately 10-20cm of positive ease is recommended. Sleeves are picked up from live sts and worked top-down in the round. In this pullover I planned to make a high, maximal cozy but not a folded collar, but since Brushmere is an incredibly soft Cashmere yarn and is not to easy to do this, I found another way to do it: namely, the collar is knitted in two different directions and it’s three different sizes of needles are used.
