The Cotton Grass sweater

Pattern:  PayHip

Cotton Grass is a seamless yoke sweater knit from the top down. It features a beautiful lace section that reminds me of cottongrass flowers, as well as slightly longer than usual sleeves. The yoke is shaped with German short rows and both classic raglan increases and increases worked in the round for a good fit. When the yoke is done, the sleeve stitches are put on hold while the body is finished with a slight A-line shaping. The sleeve stitches are then picked up again and the sleeves worked seamlessly top down to the cuffs.

Cotton Grass is intended to have a more classic fit, so choose a size that will give you a finished bust circumference that is 5-10cm/2-4’’ larger than your actual bust measurements. Sample in photo has 5cm/2’’ of positive ease.
